Notice of Elections - Posted January 9, 2012

Pursuant to Section 8.2.1 of the NPOC Charter, NPOC is posting this Notice of Election.  NPOC will be conducting elections for the following positions on or after March 5, 2012:

• NPOC Chair
• NPOC Vice Chair
• Secretariat
• Membership Committee Chair
• Policy Committee Chair
• Communications Committee Chair

Please refer to Section 3.3 of the charter for a descritpion of each Executive Committee Officer position.  A copy of the charter is located at www.npoc.org/npocdocuments.html.

The elections will be conducted according to this timeline:

January 9, 2012:        Notice of Elections

January 23, 2012:      Nominations Submitted

February 6, 2012:      Formal Acceptance of Candidates Completed

March 5, 2012:           Elections
